Michael Maguire
Michael Maguire is a professional marketing analyst and business development consultant who established Quintus Management in 1996.
In a corporate management career that has spanned four decades, he has helped more than 200 businesses and public sector bodies in Great Britain,
Ireland and Europe to deliver innovative growth strategies. He has also worked extensively in the development of sectoral studies and
brand positioning programmes with government agencies and professional bodies.
An advertising and
marketing graduate and a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, before establishing Quintus in 1996, he spent 10 years with a leading
international consulting company as UK Director for marketing economics programmes. Prior to this he served in senior corporate positions with
leading multinational businesses and spent several years in business enterprise development with regional development agencies. He has lectured
widely on international marketing and brand positioning strategies in Europe and the United States.
A popular commentator and columnist on international business matters, his book, 'It's Our Thing - 200 Years of Irish Brands,' published in 2010
is a major review of the creation, development and impact of Irish brands over the last three centuries.
